My travel mate and I had a tendency to match each other during our trip to London. We already started bff’ing our Marc by Marc Jacobs bags at the airport early Saturday morning. When we landed on the hotel bed after heavy hours of shopping and we were getting ready to go out for dinner we even bff’ed our tights. Best friends forever! ;)
Reisefølget mitt til London i helgen som var hadde en tendens til å matche hverandre. Vi startet allerede ganske tidlig på lørdagsmorgen på Gardermoen med storebror Marc og lillebror by Marc Jacobs. Senere fortsatte vi parringen av tights i hotellsengen etter lange dager med shopping.

I’m actually not a very earthy person. Probably not down to earth enough. Hoho. Ooor my wardrobe has mostly consisted of every other color than earth shades. Until now. Which better season than fall is it to slowly integrate other hues and colors than I’m used to in my wardrobe? It’s feel very refreshing and I’ll definitely go hunting for a dark chestnut coat in the nearest future. I might find something when I travel to London this weekend.
Jordfarver og meg har aldri vært så veldig nære hverandre. Muligens fordi jeg ikke er jordnær nok. Høhø. Eeeller så har garderoben min stort sett bare inneholdt alle andre farver enn naturlige nyanser. Sakte, men sikkert begynner jeg å integrere andre farver enn jeg er vant til i garderoben og i følge folk rundt meg er det visst kledelig. Så da tenker jeg: “Hvorfor ikke? Og hvilken annen sesong enn om høsten er det ideelt å gå i ett med naturen på?” Holder meg heldigvis langt unna camomønster, men det er forfriskende med noe nytt i en ny og kald sesong, og allerede jakten etter den perfekte kåpen i mørk kastanje er i gang. Kanskje man finner noe i London til helgen?

When fall arrived it was time to stock away the thin summer fabrics and replace it with knitted cardigans and other soft wool hugging items. I decided to fill one of my clothing racks with cardigans, blazers and such. This is one out of three racks as a part of my improvised wardrobe system. One of the items hanging on the rack is my new and beloved second hand cardigan scoop. You might catch it in a future post. It was probably my last cardigan/blazer buy in a while. No more free space on this rack!
P.S. Unfortunately, my Canon G11 camera went kapoof this weekend. Crappy digital camera photos have to do until I hopefully get it fixed.
Da høsten ankom og sommeren forsvant altfor fort var det på tide å pakke vekk de florlette plaggene å ta frem strikkede cardigans og andre myke ullplagg før jeg selvsagt løp sporenstreks til butikken og handlet Milo-vaskemiddel på kampanjetilbud på Smart Club. Eller nei. Jeg brukte vel heller tiden på å fylle opp et av tre klesstativer, som er en del av mitt improviserte garderobesystem, med kun cardigans, blazere og lignende. For øyeblikket henger det siste og nye second hand favorittplagget mitt på stativet blant sine andre følgesvenner. Nærmere innsyn på nevnte plagg kommer nok i et fremtidig innlegg. Forhåpentligvis er det siste plagget på den fronten på en stund, for nå er det ikke mer hengeplass på akkurat det stativet. Kjipern det pølsa!
P.S. Dessverre havnet mitt elskede Canon G11 i en ulykke i helgen,. Forhåpentligvis vil den komme seg tilbake på bena så fort som mulig. I mellomtiden får vi klare oss med middelmådige digitalkamerabilder av denne sorten.

Sorry my absence on the world wide web lately. Spent most of my hours of the day at work, meeting up with people before, under and after work, catching up on all sorts of reading and planning other practical stuff that life often demands of us. My internet hours have in other words consisted of half an hour or two in bed before sleep or checking e-mail and Facebook on my cellphone. Enough of the “I so have a life outside my blog” stuff. My work place is filled of fall news in the shoe department. Here’s a few of my favorites of the boots. I’ve already bought a pair yesterday. Guess which one?
Beklager fraværet fra det store internettet i det siste. Har tilbrakt mesteparten av tiden min på jobb og andre viktigheter som sosialisering (uten alkohol i bildet, såklart. Det er jo september alt!), har innimellom forsøkt å tilfredsstille hjernen gjennom diverse lesestoff etter en lang pause fra slike aktiviteter i sommer og ordnet praktiske småting som livet både byr på og krever av oss. Har med andre ord kun hatt tid til å ta igjen internett en halvtime eller to før sengetid eller sjekking av nødvendigheter som mail og Facebook på mobilen. Nok med jeg har et liv utenfor bloggen-prat, det har i det siste ramlet inn mange fine høstnyheter på jobb. Her er noen av favorittene mine. Kjøpte meg et nytt par i går, dere kan jo gjette hvilket?!

My latest piece of lace was bought today. I’ve figured out that I’m weak for delicate laces. Something revealing, yet classy about it. Laces can also be totally tacky, but that depends on the type of pattern of laces and how it’s worn and styled of course.
Siste innkjøp av et stykke blonder var gjort i dag på H&M. Har med tiden innsett at jeg er svak for blonder av den delikate typen. Er noe avslørende, men allikevel elegant og klassisk ved det. Resultatet kan også fort ende opp som fullstending tacky, men det spørs på type blondemønster og hvordan plagget bæres og styles, spør du meg.

Stopped by H&M today and spotted these two cropped blazers in the Trend department. I’m crazy about the fit and silhouette, especially the navy one in wool. Pre-fall-fantastic! Speaking of fall, the rainy days in Oslo are getting me prepared for fall and I’ve slightly started thinking fall when I’m out shopping (even when it’s on impulse). To be continued!
Tittet blant annet innom H&M i dag for å slå i hjel tid mellom cafédate og bollebaking og oppdaget to herlige blazere av den korte sorten i Trend-avdelingen. Linjene og passformen traff meg rett i hjertet. H&M Trend, studentbudsjettet mitt og jeg liker deg! Den første i mørkeblått og grått er midt i blinken for tidlig høst. Naturligvis med alt regnværet i byen om dagen, gleder jeg meg faktisk til en ny klessesong og prøver forsiktig å lade opp når jeg havner på shopping nå. Kom med andre ord plutselig hjem med nytt tøy i posen i dag, vi får nå se hva som havnet i den! ;)

These wonders of Pedro Garcia sandals embellished in Swarowski crystals are like made and designed for my feet and are finally landing in my shoe collection any time soon. I’ve drooled over them since forever, and now they are on sale. Woop! It doesn’t hurt that the soles are very much comfortable. No need to suffer for beauty!

Mom recently came home with this powder pink blouse in the most delicate fabric. The risk is that it might end up in my closet instead. I really fell for the embroidery sleeve details. Pretty pretty as a dove!

My adventures the last few days should absolutely be censored, so no sharing here on the wide-o internet. But I will share with you what I wore yesterday. The peachy silk trousers are one of my favorites at the moment. I should stock up with ten pairs actually. Perfectly comfortable worn with bustier and lace tank over.

We arrived Arendal city yesterday and was pretty much in heaven. Happy as a clam all ten girls and boys. Right now Ingri and I are chillaxin’ in the garden while the others are at the beach. Latest additions to my festival wardrobe are royal blue bandeau sandals and yellow nail polish. In the spirit of Sweden, indeed. Barbecue party at our place later. Stop by and say hi! ;)

Been MIA (missing in action) lately due to several reasons. Mainly because of lack of internet connection where I’m staying in Stockholm at the moment and because life is simply chaotic on most levels nowadays. C’est la vie.
I thought I compensate for my absence by showing you the versatility of my new beige shorts. I’m probably moving in them for the summer with and without stockings. One pair of shorts, three looks and so many more to come.

I know feathers are a bit passé like maxi dresses and Miley Cyrus, but I really liked the colors of these feather earrings, so they got home with me all the way from H&M last week. Kind of forgot I had them in the mist of everything lately and found the bag today when I cleaned my room and went woop woop. The coral color is perfect for the summer tanned skin.

On top of Tusenfryd (amusement park) and my daily hang out today – I ended up accessories shopping. Came home with a new light linen scarf, butterfly hairpins and pearl earrings. I might show you how I will use the items tomorrow. Now I just have to catch up on school work and I’m so ready for a few busy May days.

Ok, since the guessing went over my expectations… Not! (Sometimes I wonder if all my hits are all spam and not real visitors, because it seldom reflects on the comments. Yes, buh, freakin buh!) I thought I should reveal what were in the Pedro Garcia box. A pair of shoes of course! Black suede wedges named Rita with straps and a cute little pep-toe to be exact – and with the most comfy wedge-soles I’ve worn since the Buffalo platforms during the 90′s. Hah.
It’s been a long time since I fell head over wedges in love in a pair of shoes at first sight like this. Of course the price was over my budget, but someone special decided to make my day, week and month a little better so he donated money so I could buy these shoes. Hallo! I’m one lucky girl! ;)
