Photos: Private (straight from pre-party. Geek-o!)
Ok, since the guessing went over my expectations… Not! (Sometimes I wonder if all my hits are all spam and not real visitors, because it seldom reflects on the comments. Yes, buh, freakin buh!) I thought I should reveal what were in the Pedro Garcia box. A pair of shoes of course! Black suede wedges named Rita with straps and a cute little pep-toe to be exact – and with the most comfy wedge-soles I’ve worn since the Buffalo platforms during the 90′s. Hah.
It’s been a long time since I fell head over wedges in love in a pair of shoes at first sight like this. Of course the price was over my budget, but someone special decided to make my day, week and month a little better so he donated money so I could buy these shoes. Hallo! I’m one lucky girl! ;)

Look what the cat dragged home…or more correctly, what I dragged straight from work to pre-party to the launch of SVA Magazine and Oslo Nights 2.0 party yesterday. A white shoe box! Actually there is something in it too! I give you all one guess. Those of you who spent time with me or met me yesterday have minus one guess. Hah. Woop!

Right now I’m craving for a fringe top, boyfriend jeans in washed denim, cat-print platforms by Miu Miu (I have to get a hold of them some how!), hand-painted clutch (future DIY project, I guess), the perfect beige trench coat, and last but not least Robyn’s upcoming album Body Talk featuring funky pop-electro hits like ‘Fembot’, ‘None Of Dem’ and ‘Dancehall Queen’ screaming out of my stereo all spring long.

My friend Ingri recently got new suede heels from Pedro Garcia that she wore when we were out on Saturday. They are hot hot hot and fit her so well. Even though, I have to admit I was close to snapping them during the pre-party and run away happy in new heels. I guess she would had noticed sooner or later.

Spotted red ballerinas at Topshop screaming Natalie the other week. If anyone feels extra generous, you know my size and you know where to find them. xOxO. You know you love me.

How freakin awesome isn’t this Midnight silk biker jacket by Christopher Kane? As I continue teaming up the Topshop Addison Taupe Wedges as promised with different styling and I stumbled upon this multicolored jacket in the style of Kane’s signature print which I think works great with the wedges. The sunglasses by Emmanuelle Khan have that perfectly St. Tropez glam factor, the denim trend is difficult to avoid this season and this loose fit short sleeved shirt from Monki looks so comfortable, the high-waist leather shorts are actually black if Proenza Schouler was to decide (since I didn’t find a good photo of the brown ones I had in mind, some editing had to be done), the Yves Saint Laurent charm necklace reminds me that summer will come, along with the sea turquoise colored ring by Isabel Marant and last but not least, the oversized Alexa bag by Murberry is the perfect everyday bag in the classic chestnut color.

I have a weakness for taupe shoe wear, and these Addison Peep Toe Wedges by Topshop is no exception. So simple and clean with an edge. I love them so much that I’m going to do a styling series of different outfits I’d wear the wedges with for the coming spring. A little inspiration for all of us and a kick-start while we wait for the spring weather to arrive. First out is a romantic style in dusty colors with peach and gold details. The Fendi bag is my personal new classic favorite bag this season, the gold cuff by Aurélie Biderman is amazing and the sunglasses is already a part of my growing sunglasses-for-every-occasion collection.

Finally! The perfect everyday ankle boots are mine. I love everything about them, from the chunky heel to the cut in front to the slippery proof sole. The best about them is that they are so versatile and fit like a glove. Happiness comes in shoe boxes, I tell you!

I’ve sold wooden shoes/clogs in all colors and textures throughout my last years of experience as a shoe seller, but I’ve never embraced them myself. Now that the trend is coming and as the trend whore I am, they are slowly growing on me. Well, only some of them. I recently mentioned the Alexa Chung for Madewell collection and Karin blogged a few photos from the collection today and I noticed how similar the clogs from the collection and the ones I spotted at Zara the other day are. I really like the details. Can’t put a finger on exactly what it is, besides that they’re clogs coolness.

If you felt inspired after the Chanel Spring/Summer 2010 Collection or just inspired by Alexa Chung on the latest cover of Vogue UK for that matter, you know you want clogs for springtime. Bloggers are having the clogs frenzy, I’m actually not one of them yet, I think. But I was working at my job here in Oslo on Saturday and we just got in some spring news amongst other these cool clogs by UGG. Kinda ugly-cool if you ask me, but that’s often a good thing if you pull it off. Either way, they’re comfortable and parts of the insole is covered with the soft famous UGG lamb wool.

We also got in another bloggers favorite: the Acne Pistols boots, this season in smooth leather. They are so yummy and the whole shoe is really a good piece of handcraft. Must have!

I don’t know if you remember when I went shopping last week and came home with a pair of new grey snakeskin boots? Well, I mentioned that it had a cute story behind. Chanel had a pair of fabulous over-knee grey snakeskin boots a couple of seasons back. I wanted them so bad that I almost took a Carrie Bradshaw and went hungry for a month for a pair of boots. Too bad at that time I had to go hungry for more than one month to afford them, so no Chanel for Natalie. Then earlier the fall of 2009 I spotted a similar pair at Zara here in Stockholm and died a bit. Since my economy has been worse than worse here in Sweden as a student I just had to put them in the never mind box.
So last week I stopped by Zara to look for a pair of shorts for a friend in Oslo – and the first thing that met my eyes were the same grey over-knee snakeskin boots alone on a table signed “199 kr“! My heart started to beat faster and faster as I came closer to the table, lifted the boots and checked for the shoe size. Was it my size? OH YES!!! This is what I call meant to be.
I already love them so much. They are so light and the color is perfect for both fall and early spring. I used them a bit during Fashion Week by Berns with an insole of wool, but I think I have to get my shoemaker to walk-safe the under-sole because they’re slippery on the heel. No use looking fashionable if I can’t walk in them.

AnOther Mag loves the pirate ship earrings by Flotsam & Jetsam and so do I. Totally awesome! Just give me an eye-patch, a bottle of rum and I’m all ready to set sail. I know I’m way ahead dreaming about the sunny season here in cold dirty snow covered Scandinavia, but if I’m going to integrate this seasons denim trend in my summer wardrobe I think I would do it perfectly with this light denim playsuit with puffy shoulders by See by Chloé. Looks so chic and comfortable. While some resembles red, specifically shoes, with prostitutes, I still some how got a weakness for red shoes. These wedges over at the new Norwegian online shop Motedronningen are firing hot.
Now someone just has to give me summer asap. Thank you in advance!

These new hotties just got in store at work today. I’m halfway tired of studs overload but these are climbing my hot radar anyways. The distressed look of the leather is fantastic, the boot fits the foot like a glove (at least my feet) and I just want to live in them. Especially the ankle boots.

So it’s already Lucia and the third of advent. Time sure runs fast. I’m slowly getting in the Christmas spirit and it makes me want to wrap everything in bows. Gifts, cupcakes, cakes, buns, books, you name it. Just wearing bows should do though.
Now I’m off to a dinner out at Gamla Stan followed by a beer or two. Enjoy your Sunday!

This morning I overheard a conversation on the metro. Three girls were talking about how they were going home to fix their apartment for Christmas. Funny how the Christmas stress arrives as soon as December begins. Sounds cozy, but I think I’ll pass this year. First, I’m going home in 16 days. Second, not to sound like the Grinch but I doubt Christmas spirit will flow over me this year either. All I’m looking forward is to spend time with loved ones. In other words, I have no plans of decorating my apartment in Stockholm at all – unless we’re talking decorations like the ones above. In that case, yes please! ;)

Chanel RTW Spring/Summer 2010 is here! Karl Lagerfeld has brought the clogs into the fashion scene and if he manages to make it a trend, then it’s going to be a comfortable trend, and not to mention, major kudos to King Karl for turning wooden clogs into fashion.

I’m very pleasantly surprised by this collection. I like the barn surroundings which the first pieces blend very well into with it’s pale colors. I like the delicate fabrics contrasted with the rough textures and details of every piece. Rumor has it that Lily Allen performed at the show, but I’d probably be too caught up on the tattooed thighs on the models to notice her singing, if I had been present in Paris.

(Photos: vogue.co.uk)
After I watched Coco Before Chanel, I’m glad that Lagerfeld decided to keep the simplicity and classics of the Chanel House, although he did try making a modern statement by accessorizing the models with Blackberries. And speaking of Blackberry – in a way several of the pieces would fit perfectly in at the Gossip Girl set. Blair would probably go nuts over this collection. I, for a fact, do love the use of other colors than nude, black and white in this collection. Not that red is a revolutionizing color, but it makes me want to celebrate the 4th of July or any other patriotic day in Chanel SS10 pieces from top to toe. It’s the perfect classicism meets modern and current fashion so far.

I’m totally dead and worn out. If anyone could send me a tinned box of super energy I would be grateful…or you can just send me these Jaime Creeper boots by Alexander Wang. The distressed look of the leather is just great and the silver buckles look so polished and exclusive. They are the perfect flat ankle boots at the moment. Sigh.

(Photos: net-a-porter.com, shopstyle.com, hermes.com)
I’d style them with the pretty clear blue long knitted sweater with shoulder details by Emanuel Ungaro, the black soft lace tights by Whyred (the fabric and fit is amazing in real life), an oversized black boyfriend fit blazer, the matching Brenda bag or maybe in black (it might get too matchy-matchy, but I just love the grey color) and of course my favorite bracelets by Hermès.
Don’t know if you’ve noticed (yes, I’m talking to you my 30 readers), but I’ve edited the design back and forth – and finally I think I’m done and satisfied with the layout. I like how the bows on the top left turned out and the overall structure and cleanness. Let me know if something isn’t working as it should. Kthx!
