I’m having major cravings for a new bag nowadays. I think it’s the FWS (Fashion Week Syndrome). Almost like PMS, instead of big cravings once a month, the cravings for new luxury and beautiful things appear extra heavy twice a year together with all the inspirational photos documented everywhere from the Fashion Weeks all over.
I wouldn’t say no thanks to a customized Hermès Birkin covered in mosaic sequins…

..a funky green Givenchy Nightingale…

..or a soft textured leather YSL Downtown in sand.

AnOther Mag loves the pirate ship earrings by Flotsam & Jetsam and so do I. Totally awesome! Just give me an eye-patch, a bottle of rum and I’m all ready to set sail. I know I’m way ahead dreaming about the sunny season here in cold dirty snow covered Scandinavia, but if I’m going to integrate this seasons denim trend in my summer wardrobe I think I would do it perfectly with this light denim playsuit with puffy shoulders by See by Chloé. Looks so chic and comfortable. While some resembles red, specifically shoes, with prostitutes, I still some how got a weakness for red shoes. These wedges over at the new Norwegian online shop Motedronningen are firing hot.
Now someone just has to give me summer asap. Thank you in advance!

PVC and leather might be clammy and sweaty in the long term, that’s why it’s great to get to use when it’s still cold. Either way, cold or clammy it’s hot! Personally, I love mixing textures, that’s also why leather materials on the bottom part is the perfect contrast to flowing fabrics like chiffon, silk and sateng and for the less soft look it works great with chunky knitted sweaters or loose laidback tanks.
I have to get the H&M faux leather shorts above. The perfect length and fit! The PVC skinny trousers by Acne to right also looks hot on the right legs and buttocks.

My new course about fashion in French and Italian literature and culture started today and I had to pass the first lecture. Bummer. Had insomnia last night and had the worse headache all day. It has passed off a bit after a few painkillers and sleep. I’ve even managed to read my 50 pages of course literature for the day.
Besides from boring details about my day I want a new camera (or a camera at all) and new inspiration. This limited edition Leica M7 camera by Hermès would be pretty neat. It only costs $14 000. Actually I would be happy with a Leica D-Lux 4, but I think I might have to settle with a Panasonic Lumix 3 whenever I can afford it. When it comes to inspiration, the winter is killing me and I guess I’m not alone. I’m bored of the knitting sweaters and boots. I hope attending Fashion Week by Berns next week will give me back my inspiration although the shows are collections for Fall 2010. Just seeing fashion in new venues and perspectives always give new inspiration.

A sleek blazer is the modern fashionista’s ultimate round-the-clock coverup. (Luxury_Fashion, Twitter)
I couldn’t had say it better myself. Let’s continue on my outerwear addiction. Net-A-Porter is having a great and variate collection of blazer at the moment. Most of the brands are a bit to pricey for my student wallet right now and I bet I’m not alone in that case, but it’s great inspiration because the high street shops like H&M, Zara, Monki and so on is probably bringing in similar as usual. The fit, cut, texture, details and even lining are important when I shop for a blazer. Above I picked out some of my favorites. Which one is yours?

When I was unpacking my bags yesterday I found out that I might be addicted to outerwear. One bag was only filled with coats, jackets and blazers. I love the versatility! So I couldn’t help but fall for this fringe light pink leather jacket from Acne Spring Collection named Aroma Aged. It’s going to be legen…wait for it…dary for spring. Team it up with light blue washed jeans and a grey slouchy tank top or grey chinos and a plain white t-shirt.
By the way, seems like my posts might even get more boring. Is it even possible? Hah. Lost my camera last night. Celebrated finished exam with some girls from the class with cava at my place, followed by a whole lot of dancing and yo’ing at Debaser. Timbuktu was dj’ing and they actually made a lot of good noise and fun! Now pizza and a film. Mmm.

I went running around every shop before New Years Eve trying to find the perfect red dress without any luck. Most of it was t to the acky! According to Asian traditions red dress means luck for the new year. It’s a bit late now, but the coming H&M Garden Collection is featuring the perfect red dress. 2010 might not bring the luck I wished for, but at least it brings the clothes I want.
The Garden Collection is totally my cup of spring tea. It doesn’t hurt that the materials that are used for the clothes are organic and recycled. Good for the environment and good for fashion. Love the romantic patterns and cuts and even though I have to get through -14-18C this winter – the spring will be worth the wait!

These new hotties just got in store at work today. I’m halfway tired of studs overload but these are climbing my hot radar anyways. The distressed look of the leather is fantastic, the boot fits the foot like a glove (at least my feet) and I just want to live in them. Especially the ankle boots.

Are you tired of my obsession for bows yet? I hope not! Discovered this blue and gold fine piece by J. W. Anderson over at Caroline. It’s perfect…and I hate it. I can’t afford it on my student budget. I guess I just have to put it on my long list of all I want for christmas – obviously a lot of material pretty things, hugs and true love.
Speaking of christmas and love, I’m having a busy week ahead, so excuse my short posts. Fredrik arrived the city yesterday and is staying to Thursday. Bye bye loneliness! The last lectures at Uni and a lot of catching up on the reading before the holidays. Go shopping for the few christmas presents I can afford this year. Send out christmas cards so it arrives before Christmas Eve. Show Fredrik a bit of Stockholm. Pack for home coming on Friday morning. And even try to sneak in a party on Thursday. I’m not even going to go into details about the weekend when I get home. It’s going to be a week of it’s own. Oh, jolly times!

Hottest new-coming star on the style scene in New York is currently Alexander Wang. Besides from being on every fashionistas lips, he recently designed a capsule collection for Net-A-Porter. Here’s some of my favorites from the collection. Very Wang indeed, and the best of it is that I just want to snuggle with all the clothes and smell the yummy fabrics. Yes please to the ‘Lattice bobble sweater’ or the ‘Wool-blend blazer’. Or the ‘Croc-print razer back vest’…or…or…or…all of it?

The velvet appeared heavily on the catwalk during the Fall/Winter 2009 collections, especially over at Fendi, Chloé, Christopher Kane and Marc Jacobs. The velvet tights are in all the high-street shops in different colors and the dresses are coming closely behind. Fashion victims can’t avoid to get hooked.
I’m craving for a pair of midnight blue or gray velvet tights and a burgundy red velvet dress with a V-back. I remember owning a black velvet blazer back in my younger days. I might have to go diving in my wardrobe during Christmas and dry som dust off it.

Ok, so I tried this gray leopard print jacket at Zara last week and I can’t really get it out of my head. People always comment about how I never wear thick or warm enough jackets during fall and winter, that’s because I don’t have many I feel comfortable in, so I prefer layering instead. This coat is 80% wool (not fur-ish) and would fit great in my wardrobe. I need a stylish warm jacket that gives me inspiration in the morning.
Pros:
- Wool keeps me warm.
- The pattern and color is very trendy, but in a way also timeless.
- The price isn’t too pricey.
- The fit and length is perfect.
Cons:
- Only size medium and large left, which doesn’t fit too perfectly over the shoulders.
- I should save those money.
- Is it really “me”?
I need your help, dear readers! Buy or not to buy? That’s always a question.

Jenny was surfing through the Monki Collection during lecture today and I couldn’t help but fall for the Caitlin Knitted Sweater. It’s the perfect way to go maritime style during the winter. The sweater contains about 60% wool which will keep you warm and stylish on lazy and cold days. Gotta have!
I’m lucky enough to be blessed with Monki several places here in Stockholm. Now Monki is opening their first store in Norway in Oslo on Wednesday. Lucky you!

The it-bag Coco Duffel Studded Bag by Alexander Wang came in a new version this fall with silver studs instead of the gold details. Now it’s in stock in the most beautiful gray color and soft pebble leather. Shown above with it’s mates in suede camel and the exclusive denim leather. The gray one is the perfect gray daily handbag I’ve been looking for since forever, I tell you! Craving, big time! The silver studs could have been a bit more shiny though, on the other hand the unpolished studs give the right edge to it. Anyhow, this is perfection in a bag for me. Anyone who has a generous Santa Claus to recommend? Drop me an e-mail, please!

Once upon a time Natalie had a pair of remarkable cool zipper earrings. Every boy and girl she met on the road enjoyed pulling them. She was afraid they would pull off her ears every time, but after some time she got used to it and adored them as one of her favorites jeweleries. The earrings always gave a bit edge to the outfit.

Then one of many nights out clubbing, she got way drunk and stumbled herself home at last. While she was getting ready for bed she noticed to her horror that one earring was missing. “Oh noes!” she yelled with a hick-up or two in between. The earring was forever lost and could not be found again. Left alone was it’s twin. All lonely and sad – like a widow.

Then out of no where, her Prince Charming a.k.a Marc Jacobs, designed a pair of zip-pull studs in silver for this new season. Quirky-cool as Jacobs’ underline Marc by Marc Jacobs always is. And the perfect replacement for the lonely zipper earring. Now Natalie just have to conquer half a kingdom as the poor Cinderella in student version she is and afford a pair of Marc by Marc Jacobs Zip-pull studs….and then she can live happily ever after.
The end (when I get my hands on the earrings)!

It’s been a lot of fuzz in the media about Blake Lively‘s daring outfit at the premiere of her latest film ‘The Private Lives of Pippa Lee‘ last night. Lively is a big fan of Marchesa and it shows through this outfit taken from the Spring 2010 collection. The blazer is one perfect white fitted embroidered piece. If Blake ever gets tired of the blazer and feels like giving it to me (yeah right!) I’d personally style it in a different direction. More cool-chic glamour, I guess. Black waxed skinny jeans, studded heels and simple but cool accessories. No offence, Georgina Chapman, but such a beautiful blazer should be styled and worn in a million ways.

P.S. Bloglovin was so kind to help me transfer my old followers from the old blog to the new. So if my blog suddenly appeared on your Bloglovin again. That’s why.

My brain can’t take more course literature for today so it’s time to walk home from Uni any minute. Takes about an hour to walk home, but it’s free exercise (which is needed as a whole time student sitting on my ass reading all day), so I shouldn’t complain. The only thing to complain about is the dusky rain and the cold. But when I start walking I get warm, so how to deal with the constant change of the body temperature without wearing super or wool underwear? Layer up! This open cardigan with zipper details by Jamison is perfect for that. I can’t get enough of zipper details this year, and this fine knit cardigan is no exception. The lovely mix of wool and cashmere would definitely get me through fall/winter looking cozy and tough at the same time. It would also fit perfectly under a biker jacket with a chunky scarf to protect the neck and décolleté from catching a cold.
