Even though the jeweleries I got in yesterday’s goodie bag aren’t typical me, I thought I’d give the earrings from the Jade Jagger for INDISKA collection a try. I bet they will look good with a plain white t-shirt, denim shorts and sandals for the summer festivals. For now they will have to work with a denim shirt.

Now I’m going to bounce off to work with Aeroplane – We Can’t Fly on my ear. Can’t wait until the album comes out in September! Woopiwoop!

Jade Jagger for Indiska

Today has been a full day with everything, mostly fun. Stopped by the launch of the collaboration of Jade Jagger for INDISKA during the afternoon and walked into a showroom filled with summer and relaxed atmosphere. Even the Jade Martinis with champagne shots on the side and the finger food were screaming refreshingly Ibizia summer spirit. The collection which consists of clothes, jeweleries and interior pieces is very bohemian chic like Jade Jagger’s own style and INDISKA’s concept.

I’m not sure about the clothes fit into my personal wardrobe yet, but I really like the pieces of the furnishing collection. The whole collection will be out in stores on May 12. In my opinion some collaborations nowadays are either a hit or miss, this will most likely be a hit, since both parts make up to a complete and true design collaboration. What do you think? You like?

Blue Crush

The Mulberry Alexa bag was already an it-bag before it was launched in stores. No big news there. I can’t seem to get tired of it myself and recently stopped by the Mulberry shop to touch and crave. And oooh snap, how beautiful isn’t it in blue or yellow? I already have a Balenciaga City in blueberry, but I wouldn’t say no thanks to an Alexa in blue.

Spring Time

Monday, April 26th, 2010

Photo: Private

Lately I’ve been wearing glasses, made new friends, drunk too much cava, been to places I shouldn’t had visit, made a home video at 4 am on the way to the after-party, laughed my ass off, came home with souvenirs from the streets, “walked of shame” to the store on Sunday morning to buy ice cream, started drinking again and fell asleep after a couple of gin and tonics  and missed the summer opening of my favorite Sunday party concept. In other words, it’s officially spring! Choo-choo, I’m back on the fun train!

Showroom Day

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

Today between work out this morning and work later in the afternoon, I went to Patriksson Communcations, Spalt PR and Gambit H&K showrooms to see the fall/winter collections up close. A pleasant and fun day with some beautiful, some interesting, some ok items to touch and look at, yummy food and drinks, nice people and even some sunshine.

Favorites of the day:

Carin Wester shoes and accessories. I could live with the clothes in my wardrobe too. So many cravings!

Veronica B. Vallenes patterns, cuts, fabrics and pieces were more my cup of tea than expected. I’m awful at catching up on Norwegian design, but this was fabulous simplicity!

This awesome hat by Filippa K has the perfect contrast and shape.

Geeky-cool glasses by Marc Jacobs and Yves Saint Laurent.

Maria posing with some übercool Marc Jacobs shades in red pattern.

The girls at Spalt PR blowing bubbles bubbles bubbles.

Customized Moet & Chandon champagne with tiny surprises to go with inside the gold orbs.

Eva looking fantastic as always in a jungle inspired color palette.

Spotted this remarkable quilted Chanel backpack on a stylish person who Maria recently blogged about.

Shoes and accessories for guys by Gant I wouldn’t mind dressing my boyfriend in.

Spring Cravings

Right now I’m craving for a fringe top, boyfriend jeans in washed denim, cat-print platforms by Miu Miu (I have to get a hold of them some how!), hand-painted clutch (future DIY project, I guess), the perfect beige trench coat, and last but not least Robyn’s upcoming album Body Talk featuring funky pop-electro hits like ‘Fembot’, ‘None Of Dem’ and ‘Dancehall Queen’ screaming out of my stereo all spring long.

Plastic Fantastic

My latest piece of plastic is this bracelet by Sassybide from Bik Bok. Already worn it enough times to justify the price. Don’t get me wrong, the prize was cheap, but it’s always ok to rationalize the money you should be spending on food instead of accessories as a poor student. The bracelet is quirky and cute as I tend to like, while it seems like most girls on the blogsphere are more on the edgy side, I have to stay true to myself. Spring and summer mean back to bows galore. No wonder guys I met lately think I’m 19-20 years. It’s perfectly fine with me as long as they think I’m cute, because cute usually happens to be someone guys want to hold her hand, while sexy and hot alone work often as a one night stand. So there, I rather be cute, que? ;)

Oh Pedro

My friend Ingri recently got new suede heels from Pedro Garcia that she wore when we were out on Saturday. They are hot hot hot and fit her so well. Even though, I have to admit I was close to snapping them during the pre-party and run away happy in new heels. I guess she would had noticed sooner or later.

Saddle Up With Mulberry

I adore the Mulberry Spring/Summer 2010 campaign where the fairground horses appear everywhere. It’s always a pleasure passing by the Mulberry shop windows at Østermalmstorg in Stockholm – make me want to go the tivoli and ride a carousel. The campaign photos are beautiful and the jeweleries made my fancy tickle even more.  I especially love the necklace with the horse pendant. Obviously, I’m weak when it comes to unicorns, seahorses, rubber ducks and even carousel horses. They sort of symbolize another world which fascinates me. (Well, the rubber ducks are just simply cute, floating and great bath tub company. ;))

Embellished

Found these vintage-ish clip earrings while diving through my mom’s jewelery box. I instantly fell for them because I have a weakness for classy jewelery with the tiny statement that doesn’t make it too bling-bling. The great coincidence is that they go pretty well with my favorite embellished top by By Malene Birger which I totally forgot I had. And yesh, welcome to my bathroom! I would show you my fridge too in typical MTV Cribs‘ style if there actually was something in it.

Spring Fever With Addison #4

Saturday, April 17th, 2010

Photos (collage): oasis-stores.com, net-a-porter.com & topshop.com

I was literally spotting this dotted jumpsuit at Oasis the other day. The fabric, cut and pattern add up to what the perfect playsuit is in my head. Great for lazy spring and summer days, besides matched up with my latest obsession, which is a studded denim vest (totally in love with the one from Levi’s),  it would make a match in heaven for festival days too. Hats are this season’s addiction as a great variation to sunglasses and during the heavy days of sunshine it even protects the hair while looking extra stylish. The Addison wedges in taupe from Topshop aren’t exactly spankin’ brand news since this is my fourth and probably last styling collage with them. Which one is your favorite of the 1, 2, 3 and 4?

Plenty of Fishes In The Sea

I’m wearing my dark blue denim jacket and vintage leather belt in white embellished with gold fishes for the first time in years. Wowz. Barbecuing with les filles now. I hope my random outfit posts aren’t boring you to death just yet. ;)

Simply Spring

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

Photos: Private

Springtime means sunglasses and simple outfits. My beloved Dior Aviator sunglasses are finally at it use again this season. Today was my fourth day in a row spent at Aker Brygge enjoying the sun with a cup or glass of something refreshing. It’s important to enjoy it while we still can!

Miss Dior Cherie, Oui

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

Photos: Private

After passing the Miss Dior Cherie posters a million times both in Stockholm and Oslo, I’ve decided that I need a Miss Dior Cherie-ish hat this spring/summer with flowers and the whole sha-bang. So absolutely! Wouldn’t mind the hair style either. Already spotted a potential hat in this style or I might turn to a tiny new DIY project.

Alice In Forever21 Wonderland

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010

Photos: igorandandre.blogspot.com

I finally made time to see Alice In Wonderland in 3D last week thanks to K who dragged me to the cinema. Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed and think I’ll stick to the cartoon version as I’ve done since my childhood years. The drawings above by Igor+André in collaboration with Forever21 aren’t bad either.

The Sun Always Shines On Sundays

Sunday, April 11th, 2010

Photos: Private

The perfect ingredients for an official spring Sunday in Oslo are a white simple shirt with laces peaking just below, quirky-cute details, frizzy and uncombed hair, sunshine and beer at the sea side spent with good friends to repair for the weekend’s partying events – and last but not least, DJ Hero, Happy Meal and quality time. Back to reality tomorrow. Good night!

Laces And Cupcakes

Friday, April 9th, 2010

Going to a birthday party any minute now. Doing the laces, red bow, red hearts and cupcakes accessories look. Have fun! I will!

Your One And Only Source

Spotted red ballerinas at Topshop screaming Natalie the other week. If anyone feels extra generous, you know my size and you know where to find them. xOxO. You know you love me.
