These new hotties just got in store at work today. I’m halfway tired of studs overload but these are climbing my hot radar anyways. The distressed look of the leather is fantastic, the boot fits the foot like a glove (at least my feet) and I just want to live in them. Especially the ankle boots.

What is F.U.N?
Let me spell it out for you.
F is for friends who do stuff together,
U stands for you and me,
and N is for anywhere and anytime in the deep blue sea!

Grey long tank top (Filippa K), black lace tank (H&M Trend), blue velour tights (Bik Bok), black blazer (H&M Trend), cobalt blue sequin beanie (Primark), rainbow colored earrings (H&M), black boots with gold zipper (Tommy Hilfiger), blue and beige canvas clutch (Marc by Marc Jacobs)

So what have I’ve been up to since the last time? Well, a lot more work, a bunch of more fun, tons of drinking and a bit cinema and skating time in between.  And last but not least I did a round with my camera and stereotypical blog poses. Here’s outfit from Sunday fun. The usual Oslo fun with loved ones is actually giving me more energy than wearing me out and not enough time to geek. I love it to bits.

2-juledag-09

You just have to excuse my lousy updates.  I’m having friends, fun and sleep as priorities right now. The traditional night out with the best girls and boys in town last night. Fun!  Tonight I might end up out again and dancing my feet off. Gotta love Oslo during the holidays!

Will Pose For Gifts

Black velour dress/long top (Bik Bok), blue and red dress with bow decoration (unknown), lace tights (H&M), red satin peep-toe heels (Pura Lopez), blue and black stud belt (Zara), white H-Bracelet (Hermès), chunky pearl necklace (Coast), black and white pearl bracelet (random)

Happy Holidays everyone! Hope you’re having a fabulous one! I finally have time to breathe, enjoy the christmas silence and just take it easy. I might even have time to heal my health. Since I arrived at home it has been a lot of stress at work (no surprise) which has worn me out, on top of last minute gift shopping, friends and events to meet and go to and other preparations for Christmas.  Christmas Eve turn out to be not so bad this year. I’m pleasantly surprised. The rest of the family was so full of food and obviously doesn’t take as much wine as myself before they became all sleepyheads after the gift opening.

I was actually quite dead myself, but had to wait for Fredrik to come by. So while waiting I was posing for gifts. Christmas Eve outfit with an extra addition of the new gold sequin beanie which I amongst other got for christmas this year.

Voila! This is how our tree ended up looking after a round or two around it last night. My favorite ornaments are the small knitted sweaters covered in sequins decorations and each comes with a cute hanger. And yup, we actually have colorful and very American tree lights including different functions. Awesome!

Black silk blouse (By Malene Birger), grey high-waist trousers (H&M Trend), chunky pearl necklace (Coast), pearl earrings (Glitter), black and white pearl bracelet (random), red bow (Monki).

Another long and stressful day at work to 21.30 pm followed by gingerbread baking. I could fall asleep standing soon. If you look closely you can even see I barely bother to put on any make-up today. Wow!  Tomorrow I have to get up early to finish my christmas gift hunt and then get off to yet another chaotic day at work. Let’s hope I don’t have to work for three persons tomorrow.

Dots, Bows And Blurry Eyes

Sorry for the lack of posts lately – or the lack of interesting posts is more correct, I guess. The health hasn’t been at it’s best lately and my eyes have gotten worse. Can’t go anywhere because one eye is totally blurry. I have to focus a lot just to write this post. Really bad timing with work and pre-christmas fun. I don’t want to be stuck in bed sleeping all day, I want to meet up with my friends and be around people when I’m first home for Christmas.

Oh well, enough whine because I’m running empty for cheese here. If I have to continue to be stuck in bed I would do it fashionably and preferably with the outfit above. Black, white, stripes, dotted tights and a dash of red. Yes, please! And if I have to cover my handicap blurry eye I would do it with a bow hairband.

Dead And Alive

I’m dead and buried somewhere under one of these gravestones. Guess which one? Ok, not literally dead. Duh! But I’m tired as an elephant on a bicycle after 3 hours of sleep last night and the longest day in a while. I even went home early from the party last night! Got up at 7 am and barely made my flight from Stockholm to Oslo because of technical problems with an elevator. Then I made it home, in the door and had just enough time to leave my bags, change clothes and jump on the next bus to work. A lot of gift wrapping and stress. Done at 9 pm. Straight off to Christmas work shop, where I dropped the work shop and came for the red wine and porridge. Got a bit christmas spirit for free! Now sleep, work again and party with my homies tomorrow. What does that mean? Rising from the Chanel grave of course!

Fashion Networking

fashion-networks-fest

I’m trying to get ready while kind Fredrik is out in the snow picking up my shoes from the shoe fixer. Pre-partying with this playlist by Signe Siernsen who will be playing at the Fashion Networks party I’m attending today. Sweet Maria invited me to go with her.  Fun! It’s the great end before I’m leaving on a plane home for Christmas to Oslo tomorrow morning.

Baby Got Back

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

Horray, my baby H is back! It has been gone on “vacation” in Paris for over two whole months. Don’t believe the rumors about rehab, it’s just fixed a thing or two. Plastic surgery obviously takes time in France. Don’t know how I’ve managed without. We’re like pen and paper. It’s my right hand – at least it’s always present on my right arm. Fortunately the Hermès H-Bracelet is now finally back all healthy and new. Hopefully the new lock is now safe and I wont ever loose it again.

My other H in beige and wide size is by the way still for sale here. It’s ready to be your baby!

Navy and beige striped sweater (Monki), beige chinos (Cubus), Scottish patterned wool scarf (random), black riding-ish boots (Marc O’Polo), red trench coat (Zara), anchor necklace (second hand), black leather hobo bag (Marc by Marc Jacobs)

While Fredrik was trying on all the clothes I picked out for him on the other side of the fitting rooms I was killing time shooting outfit photos of myself in old fashion blog style. Both Fredrik and I were happy with what we picked out for him and we went out of the shop with a full and heavy big bag.  Woop!

I Like Bows…And You

Are you tired of my obsession for bows yet? I hope not! Discovered this blue and gold fine piece by J. W. Anderson over at Caroline. It’s perfect…and I hate it. I can’t afford it on my student budget. I guess I just have to put it on my long list of all I want for christmas – obviously a lot of material pretty things, hugs and true love.

Speaking of christmas and love, I’m having a busy week ahead, so excuse my short posts. Fredrik arrived the city yesterday and is staying to Thursday. Bye bye loneliness! The last lectures at Uni and a lot of catching up on the reading before the holidays. Go shopping for the few christmas presents I can afford this year. Send out christmas cards so it arrives before Christmas Eve.  Show Fredrik a bit of Stockholm. Pack for home coming on Friday morning. And even try to sneak in a party on Thursday. I’m not even going to go into details about the weekend when I get home. It’s going to be a week of it’s own. Oh, jolly times!

Need Supply

outfit-14-dec-09

I recently discovered Need Supply Co. The online store sells cool not so commercial brands. Many of the clothes, shoes and accessories are totally  my cup of tea. Not a big deal, but I love it when it happens: when I discover something new that falls into the abyss of Natalie’s taste. It helps satisfy a part of my need to constantly discover something new – either it’s in the genre of music, photography, fashion, food or literature. As my friend Henrik says: “Always be happy, never be satisfied.

I would have been happy and satisfied if I owned the outfit I put together above. Everything is from Need Supply Co., except the coat. It’s from Glitzy (slash I Want To Look Like Chanel).

So it’s already Lucia and the third of advent. Time sure runs fast. I’m slowly getting in the Christmas spirit and it makes me want to wrap everything in bows. Gifts, cupcakes, cakes, buns, books, you name it. Just wearing bows should do though.

Now I’m off to a dinner out at Gamla Stan followed by a beer or two. Enjoy your Sunday!

White blouse with bow (H&M), silver shorts (Oasis), black and white striped blazer (Zara), black dotted tights (H&M Trend), black patent heels (Buffalo), chain necklace used as belt (Aldo), Vanity Fair clutch (random), silver chandelier earrings (H&M)

I did everything else than freeze last night. Café Opera was too crowded so we went to Collage instead. The VIP room was more like a sauna. The windows were damping and I don’t think they ever heard of air condition. But we had fun dancing in the heat after all! I wore a coat, knitted wool scarf, beanie and gloves outside, but I’ve managed to get even more sick today. Good girl, Natalie. Not. My eyes can’t seem to get better either. Anyone wants to send me a new health for Christmas? Or a whole year prescription of antibiotics? Kthx!

Friday Night Live

Idol finale, rosé wine, cupcakes and good company going on. After the result of Idol (we all know Erik is winning, duh!) it’s out for partying and dancing at Café Opera. Sneak peak of outfit. Hope I wont freeze to death. Have a nice Friday!

Look at all the awesome rings on the feminine hands with pastel painted nails. Pretty! I especially can’t stop staring at the ice cream cone ring. Fabolous!

I know how I’m going to paint my nails this spring. All pastel-ish matched up with lovely dovey colored outfits. I also know girls have been fuzzing about the nail-polish named Jade by Chanel lately. Thanks to my classmate Klara I recently discovered that Urban Outfitters has almost the exact same color for half the price, and a lot of other pretty pastels too!
